Dili is the capital and the largest city of Timor-Leste, situated on the northern coast of the island. As for its proximity to other city centers, Dili itself is a city center. Being the capital, it is where governmental offices, businesses, and shops are located. The second largest city, Baucau, is about 122 kilometers to the east.
